In Europe, Even Yandex is Closing in on Microsoft
The chatbot hype (or empty promise) was an utter failure. It didn't "deliver". Even Wall Street is beginning to realise it was just a bubble [1, 2].
Looking at data from Europe, Bing lost market share and Yandex is about to exceed it in usage (the gap is being narrowed).
So what's the lesson to learn from all this?
Microsoft is losing a ton of money on this hype [1, 2]. Nothing to show for it. Many people lose their jobs not because "AI" replaces them but because money is spent looking for gold that does not exist (instead of paying salaries). █
