Dr Richard Stallman in Montpellier, Robert Edward Ernest Pocock in France

Dr Richard Stallman has made the voyage from Boston to Montpellier, giving a talk to advance the freedom and liberty of the French.

My great grandfather Robert Edward Ernest Pocock made a long journey from Australia to France in 1916. Private Pocock arrived in France on 21 November 1916:

Shortly after arriving, he was seconded to the 8th Field Artillery Brigade. The Australian War Memorial has pictures of the brigade promoting the liberty of France and Belgium:

In March 2021, rogue developers began attacking Dr Richard Stallman with a cyberbullying campaign disguised as a petition. Their attacks were shut down, just like the fascists who invaded France.

I published this blog supporting the liberty of Dr Stallman. My blog and my Fedora account were immediately censored.

I created the WeMakeFedora.org planet site in parallel with the official Planet Fedora site so that people could continue reading the blog posts from censored developers.

Since then, over $120,000 has been spent by various organizations trying to censor my blog posts and hurt my family.

What does money like that buy?

Rogue Debianists are boasting about getting an invalid legal judgment from corrupt Swiss lawyers on the anniversary of the Kristallnacht. Look at the date, 10 November 2023. Kristallnacht was the beginning of the Holocaust. Debian money is paying for this extreme bullying. The Swiss Intellectual Property Office confirmed it is invalid.

They fooled corrupt WIPO lawyers to write more insults censoring the former debian.news site on World Press Freedom Day (3 May), all because I supported Dr Stallman's right to due process.

Dr Stallman is still standing and so am I. Here are some photos from Montpellier:

I asked the last question, asking Dr Stallman about the relationship between FSF and FSFE. Dr Stallman responded in French, confirming that there have been problems with FSFE since before the community elected me as the Fellowship representative in 2017.

Notice that the date when FSFE published the results of the election was 25 April 2017. That is ANZAC Day, the day when Australia remembers our anciens combattants.

The day that they tried to attack my home was 21 November 2023. The attack failed and was remotely recorded. Notice that is 107 years after my great grandfather arrived in France on 21 November 1916.

In 2025, we are remembering the 80th anniversary of the end of World War 2 and Nazism. Dr Stallman is promoting freedom but we can't take freedom for granted. At FOSDEM, people need to ask questions about the waste of money and the rise of fascism in the largest free software organizations.

Please see the chronological history of how the Debian harassment and abuse culture evolved.
