Towards GNU World Domination
The FSF led by Geoffrey S. Knauth with his friend Richard Stallman in the FSF's Board
Today we already showed that outside "the West" GNU/Linux makes huge strides, more so now that there's a rift in the world, exacerbated by the Cheeto of the Oval Office (sponsored by Microsoft). Richard Stallman has just updated an article related top that and moments ago he finished his public talk in London (a short distance from us).
The Chinese market is leaning more and more towards GNU/Linux [1, 2] (bulk licensing of Windows set to expire). Chinese OEMs now offer a "no-Windows discount". This will give a huge incentive for people to buy laptops and desktops with GNU/Linux preloaded.
We've also just noticed this trend in Lebanon:
Yes, a Windows all-time low in Lebanon. Like in so many other countries (we've named some earlier this month).
Let's encourage people to adopt GNU/Linux. There has never been a better time. In the next post we'll show what Vista 11 has become and why some nations need to ban it outright. China came close to that and adoption of Vista 11 has been laughable there. █
