As somebody pointed out 10 hours ago ("Taliesinawen"), GNOME's leadership is using "bad words". It's talking about the chief it seems to have just ousted (this is discussed in other comments in that page).
Can GNOME make a statement about violence against women? Silence is not the same as endorsement, but it seems GNOME has a real conflict here. █
