This is What Happens When Microsoft Canonical Lets Decisions on Ubuntu be Made by a Youngster From the British Army (Where He Did Mass Surveillance)
Background: Ubuntu Becomes Microsoft GitHub, Based on Decision Made by British Army Officer | Is Ubuntu Compromised? Push Away From GNU and GPL Led by Army Officers.
Now:
"Is Ubuntu Compromised?"
We asked this 6 months ago. See above.
It almost looks like it is being sabotaged for no good reason, or without any solid reasoning.
Is GNU bad? Is the GPL bad? Must every program be controlled by Microsoft/NSA in GitHub (controlled by the NSA directly and indirectly)?
Ask the person who made this decision (and related decisions) for Canonical. His professional career was short and mostly included spying on people.
With "Edward Brocklesby" lurking in the shadows (and intentionally ignored by all the major media), similar questions can be asked about Debian, whose controlling cabal is connected in several demonstrable ways to the intelligence apparatus.
These are legitimate questions to be asked and entertained. If we cannot even bring up this subject, then something has gone very wrong. â–ˆ
