"Social Justice Warriors" Make Violent Threats Against Event Organisers, Developers, and Journalists
"Social Justice Warriors" (this is what they call themselves) aren't exactly our cup of tea because we see them targeting the people who created GNU and Linux. They portray themselves as "left". Yet, they keep targeting leftists. Just because you self-describe or identify as something "social" and "justice" doesn't mean you promote social causes or care about justice.
In the past decades or in generations, "Social Justice Warriors" (shortened to "SJWs") used different labels to promote a similar agenda, typically acting at the behest of large corporations to marginalise Hippie-like movements.
Like many other cults, they work in groups and bend (sometimes break) laws to accomplish goals. The morality and legality of the means does not seem to matter.
As a left-leaning person (I've always been rather strongly on the left), I generally reject people who call themselves "SJWs"; they tend to be aggressive, offensive, confrontational, and destructive. They literally threaten violent behaviour against people. They consider this acceptable, based on some bizarre reasoning. █
