Body-Shaming Using Fakes
"Editorial note" under yesterday's Daily Links said what was being done to Richard Stallman (RMS) in social control media controlled by an oligarch, MElon. People with a long track record of trolling RMS and channeling the very toxic Microsoft Lunduke* are spreading around fake photos of RMS in a bikini.
This isn't the behaviour of mature men but of 4Chan-inspired children "stuck" in an adult's body, i.e. pretty much what Microsoft Lunduke represents or targets. The smears against RMS didn't stop, they're just happening 'behind the scenes' so to speak.
"Have they ever made any claim that something is not true in one of my blogs?" one person asked us recently. "Or they only ever used the blackmail tactics, "we won't talk to you any more" stuff to try and get things taken down?"
There's a war not only on RMS but on people merely think like RMS or defend Software Freedom.
"Only some Balkan person," I replied, but that was "years ago."
See, there are threats being issued against people who don't participate in the "The Practice of Ritual Defamation". And a lot of the people who casually claim "defamation" are themselves defaming loads of people every day. They're completely hypocritical. █

* Now he's scapegoating or witch-hunting anyone who doesn't like the corrupt dictator (yes, Cheeto), calling them "Communists" (he keeps doing this to Red Hat staff [1, 2]; Brockmeier used to work there until quite recently).
Quick rebuttal:
It’s fascinating how such a large percentage of Tech Journalists are either proud Communists or Communist-ish.
Really? So if corruption and war crimes are opposed, that someone makes the opposition "Communist" or "Communist-ish"?
Here we see a writer for LWN (a long-time Linux-focused news publication) encouraging “national strikes” to “deny the ruling class” of labor. With the goal of removing the non-Communist, elected politicians from office.
He's falsely implying that anything not Republican (or not Cheeto) is "Communist".
And that particular Tech Journalist is not an outlier. These sentiments are roughly in line with the vast majority of everyone working, professionally, in computer news.
So anyone who disagrees with Microsoft Lunduke is "Communist"?
Unfortunately, most of them have a tendency to let those Leftist political views dictate what stories they cover (and how they cover them). Including refusing to cover stories, relevant to their beat, which make Leftist causes look bad.
Maybe they don't consider 4Chan part of their daily "beat". And they don't fancy homophobia, either.
Which means, by and large, most Tech News… is Communist.
Right. Communists everywhere!
