Google News as Slop Booster
Google is selling slop. It even turned Google Search into somewhat of a slop prompt, in effect copying sites instead of linking to them, then getting the details wrong (because slop relies on some LLM which has no actual comprehension).
Last night we caught Google News linking to this:
And also to its sister slopfarm:

With some more FUD from the same site again:
Surely Google knows (or can determine) this is a slopfarm or a triplet of slopfarms, but it keeps linking to it all regardless. It also links to the slopfarm WPN:
Of course those are fake 'articles', but this is what Google links to, even in Google News. That's still a problem. █
