Anthropic and Claude Are National Security Risks Not Because of Politics But False Marketing and Vandalism, Plagiarism Sold as Innovation

posted by Roy Schestowitz on Apr 28, 2026

The slop hype is causing severe damage

This morning we wrote about lies told by Anthropic with help from complicit media that does no fact-checking, it just blindly believes sleazy companies and sometimes stashes bribes - various financial incentives that is - to help them lie (or disseminate their lies, as The Register MS did as recently as yesterday). This is totally not OK. It's immoral and it'll crash the industry.

And Anthropic is... at it again!

Months ago: "Smart" or "Intelligent" Agents and "Vibe Coding" Deletes Everything You Have

This week: Claude-powered AI coding agent deletes entire company database in 9 seconds — backups zapped, after Cursor tool powered by Anthropic's Claude goes rogue

No lessons learned then, right?

Claude is now mandated for engineers and programmers to use in NVIDIA, the company which relies on a Ponzi scheme (as explained hours ago) and all sorts of obvious BS to sell GPUs, based on false assumptions and rogue financing, which amounts to accounting fraud.

As for Claude sabotaging work, set aside plagiarism and technical debt its "code" (slop) causes, this isn't the exception because the press tells similar stories when it's not paid to publish marketing spam (PR) as "news".

Destroying a company's system? Does accountability exist here?

Anybody with basic computer skills can do that too, but it'll take more time; maybe slower than 9 seconds. Slop does the vandalism faster without even recognising that it is vandalism. Nobody will be assigned responsibility.

And no, an associate comments on the headline chosen, "Claude" did not go rogue (it always was rogue), as it is more like it was the management (or whomever) which turned the program loose in a production environment who should put the blame where it is deserved. Claude is unfit except for anything other than "entertainment purposes" (as Microsoft quite recently put it, a sober moment for a change).

So Claude too is only for "entertainment purposes".

It should be noted that "the company [which used the snakeoil] will go down in flames due to the damage caused by LLMs the C-suite, which gets paid in funnymoney, will make out like bandits on the way down, however," an associate of ours said.

The associate has moreover pointed out that "senior people also get paid in funnymoney (aka stock options) so that they gradually get forced to at least play along with the LARPing which the C-suite engage in" (e.g. at IBM).

"What he did to IBM is criminal," someone said 15 minutes ago about the buzzwords-slinging CEO.
