Mass Layoffs Expected at Microsoft in July 2026
From an insider (gaming division):

This week people speak of PIPs too:

Microsoft seems to be preparing - or its staff bracing/unionising - for much-anticipated (by us) mass layoffs. For the "buyouts", the last day is the first of July, 3+ weeks before the fake results and end of the financial year. After that, in mid-July, expect more "walk the plank" directives.
As we saw at IBM, PIPs can be a pretext or a way to mark who to lay off (RA). As somebody put it 12 hours ago: "accurate. Similar experience. Internal systems are being manipulated and misused in nefarious ways to justify certain actions. It’s an abuse of the systems. It is also misleading"; a prior comment blamed the middle managers: "you share partially the blame. You could not have naive not to foresee the outcome next. In my 30+ years at IBM, I have encountered one manager who refused categorically to rank employees based on quotas imposed by the higher ups. He ha a conscious. Most managers are just parasites, useless pieces of sh-t."
It seems like the same is about to happen next month at Microsoft. They're preparing more "lists" of people. █
