Hey guys i hope somebody could help ma a little. My bfs acer pc suddenly says 'security boot fail', i tried searching around how to fix it but i dont really understand any of it... Is there a way of fixing it without losing any data?

Changes at this level can go very wrong. And for what?

Also today:

Secure boot certificates are not updated – Microsoft explains it

Security does not mean "asked Microsoft for permission".

Those who insist that this is what security boils down to are typically lying or get paid by Microsoft to help Microsoft take over PCs, even ones that do not run Windows.

Usage of Windows is at an all-time low. █
