Microsoft Redefines "Layoffs" to Give Smaller Tallies
It's not just calling them "buyouts" or saying people are merely "leaving" or "retiring"
Based on online rumours we saw in several (independent from one another) sources, today there may be a lot more Microsoft layoffs. "Based on what we hear," one insider said this week, "it’s org based and these aren’t layoffs but terminations. But every org is going to do it as per their timeline..."
We also see the news about id Software (now Microsoft) "firings" (blame the person impacted) and a prominent gaming site calls this "madness":

Maybe Microsoft can just blame the workers, then pretend those aren't actually layoffs. █
