Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Inaction and Incompetence - Part II - 77 Messages Sent, Did Not Even Investigate or Examine Any of the Actual Evidence (British Taxpayers' Money Wasted)
In Part I, which was published way back in March (around the time the death threats began), we said that SRA had become known (even notorious) for inaction. Lots of people out there say the same. Lots and lots. Even taken on a statistical basis, with a very considerable sample set, this is how the SRA fares based on 413 reviews. The slop summary says "[p]eople found the service pointless and useless, often describing it as a waste of taxpayer money and failing to uphold proper standards."

So do not rush to say we're just an "angry" edge case or that the "hired guns" are innocent. To be clear, "NO ACTUAL INVESTIGATION WAS DONE" (and it seems like the common sort of handling, based on the above reviews).
As a sort of outline, consider how many messages were sent back and forth before we basically gave up, seeing the SRA wasn't doing anything except sending useless communications back and forth without even investigating any of the evidence:

In the next few parts we'll examine some of the early stages of the complaints process. Towards the end we'll also show that any complaints about the SRA's own service... are dealt with by the SRA itself! This is sometimes known (in slang) as "arse-covering".
The only productive outlet for complaints about the SRA is the open Web. Moreover, if only taxpayers knew how much money is wasted on the SRA pretending to regulate the SRA would be defunded, shut down, and replaced by something new that actually has "teeth". █
