Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Inaction and Incompetence - Part I - Introduction

In the last SRA series ( Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV, Part V) we spoke in general terms about core issues with the SRA, which we last mentioned yesterday in preparation for March [1, 2, 3].
The February series now resumes anew, as planned, this time by giving concrete examples based on our direct experiences with the SRA.
This series will show how the SRA repeatedly failed - for many months - at the most basic technical tasks.
At a later point we'll show that the SRA did not investigate anything, it basically gave tasks or assignments to the complainant, instead of doing its own job (that it was meant to do).
At a later point we'll show that the SRA itself is regulated by nobody except itself, i.e. it can only ever hold itself accountable. And it won't. When it fails, as it inevitably will, it'll also stop responding.
The SRA is a sham. Many people know this already, but we want to document our own experiences with it. This series may be long enough to last until April. █
