August 2026 Microsoft Layoffs Confirmed by Staff This Week

"Buyouts" (silent layoffs) and "proper" layoffs aren't over at Microsoft. As people suggested back in June, August would see a continuation of PIPs and all sorts of seemingly (only on the surface) sporadic layoffs.
