The GNU/Linux Anniversary is Next Month, Not This Month
It'll turn 43
So the so-called 'Linux' Foundation not only misuses the brand "Linux" to promote scams (it did so a lot this past week!), it also - predictably - paints "Linux" (it means GNU/Linux) as turning 35 this month. It's actually turning 43 next month. Don't fall for the revisionism.

GNU/Linux wasn't started by a man in Finland. It began in America, just like UNIX.
It is noteworthy that both IDG and ZDNet (Microsoft publishers) are beginning to accept that GNU/Linux approaches 10% "market share" in desktops and laptops. Microsofters who quote "reddit comments" or "hackernews link" to try to 'debunk' data that's consistent across surveyors are not going to win this argument. Billions of hits/sessions are more scientific than "randomjoe567" in Reddit.
As a reminder, today is our last "proper" day for this month. We plan to spend more time outside and spend no time dealing with hired guns who have temper issues and increasingly cheaper office supplies [1, 2]. █
