The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

What is the problem? Simply upload sysvinit-2.58.tar.gz to sunsite for the
rest of the world and upload sysvinit-2.58-1.tar.gz to master.debian.org for
Debian as we have the privilege of counting you among us.

  Miquel> Sysvinit-2.59 will be named "sysvinit-2.59.tar.gz" and
Miquel> "sysvinit-2.59.deb". If there is a debian-only change (say in the
Miquel> rules file, whatever) there will be a sysvinit-2.59-2, etc. As soon
Miquel> as there is a more general change I'll bump up the version number
  Miquel> to sysvinit-2.60.

I could call this "the worst of two worlds". You are using two distinct
numbering schemes at the same time. Remember how my first point was about
consistency? :-)
