The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Blech!

For goodness sake - Debian is a fantastic name.  It's *much*
better than Debian/GNU Linux,  it's *much* better than the BASE
LINUX SYSTEM. Lots of people know Debian - for better or worse.

I can understand that there is a knee-jerk reaction towards
changing the name simply because of the fall-out with the FSF,
but for most *users* Debian was,  and is,  just another
Linux distribution. Let's not let politics take such a toll
on the system.

Our aim should be to make it the *best* distribution, for the
very reasons Dale outlined earlier.

So lets keep Debian.  Plain Debian.  Not Debian/GNU,  not
even Debian Linux.  Just Debian.

Has a ring to it.
