The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I might consider (but certainly wouldn't prefer) exectuables installed
with --strip-debug. Unstripped executables compiled with -g are simply
too large for the small benefit they provide to normal users.

We should make installation of source easier, but it should not be
required.

As someone else already suggested, they could be installed as
standard, but should not be required.

IMO, we should break any formal relationship with FSF. Their goal of
Debian being the GNU System (at least until the HURD is ready) does
seem to match our goals for Debian. We should, however, continue to
solicit any suggestions they have which would make it easier for them
to rebuild Debian to meet their own needs.
