The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Please don't change the name. Losing the name ``Debian'' would strip away
whatever identity Debian has. Furthermore, it seems kind of rude to Ian
Murdock. He took this system from nothing to something resembling its
current form and then turned it over to us. The least we can do is keep
the name he gave it. (If Ian M. says that he doesn't care, then I withdraw
this objection.) If we want to have others build specialty systems on top
of what we provide, we can target that market of system integrators. But
to _call_ ourselves ``_THE_ Linux base system'' seems awfully arrogant.
Let us put together a really great system. You provide ``Linux for Hams''.
Perhaps a few other people provide specialty systems based on Debian.
Eventually, if we are really as good as we think we are, people will use
Debian and build on top of Debian without having to be bludgeoned into it.
