The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I know. I have packaged the software - as I have said before - according
to the security schemes provided by upstream sources. I have never
knowingly uploaded software that was insecure.

I dont believe that complex software can be completely secure that why
I have a fundamental vote of "no confidence" on the issue of security.
Running applications is a risk and proper cautions should be taken.
Assuming perfect security is unreasonable.

I am sorry that a security hole has been discovered in the way dosemu
is set up by default and as soon as I have enough information about the
issue from the developers I will do something about it (if there is no new
maintainer till then).

But security holes are to be expected. I was certainly glad that we have
set up things the way described earlier when I saw the last report on a
hole in sendmail.
