The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I am also disappointed to see Bruce go. Though, as project leader,
he took a lot of heat of the Debian 1.2 release, I think he bore
the complaints and criticism well. He may have made some mistakes,
but mistakes are only really bad if you fail to learn from them.

I hope Bruce will reconsider his decision and allow himself to
be included among the candidates for "Debian Project Leader".

In a company (and if Debian becomes a company, this will be legally
true as well as a good policy), the board of directors has little
power beyond selecting the officers of the company (eg. President
and CEO). It is those chosen officers who are responsible (and thus
have corresponding authority) for the dealings of the company.

A board of directors does not add anything to the decision making
process.
