The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

gated license

This is an excerpt from a message I sent to the board members.

I think you need to read the [gated] license a bit more carefully.
Look at Appendix A:

"2. The Software shall not be distributed, sold or used in any way in a
commercial product, without UMCP's prior written consent."

Later on, it says:

"Royalty-free licenses to redistribute UMD OSPF are available from the
University of Maryland, College Park."

We don't have any idea yet what the UMD license looks like.
Because the Gated license says you must comply with the copyrights
in Appendix A, you don't have to sign just one license - you need at
least two. I don't think Gated works at all without OSPF.

I think the best we could do with this would be to execute both licenses
and put the package in non-free. This would be necessary because we can't
grant third parties the right to redistribute this software under the
MERIT and UMD licenses.
