The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Switching to RPM (was Unidentified Subject!)

It's clear that nobody wants to switch.

Erik Troan and I were discussing Debian's use of Red Hat code today (he
read my complaint about Caldera/LST on debian-devel and suggested I use
their stuff instead) . He offered to put in any amount of dependency
support we wanted if we'd switch. It sounds like he's sincere.

I think I could never get this by the developers unless it was possible
for them to switch packages without losing _anything_. That means they'd
have to build and use the packages with the same Debian tools as today,
the same files in the DEBIAN directory, etc.

I'm not going to waste Erik's time if we can't get the developers to switch.
Perhaps he'll be interested in slowly pushing RPM in our direction.

	Thanks

	Bruce
