The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I can't find Joey's proposal for clarification. Can I have it again, please?

Right.

This is to combat the negative perception that "Debian has 2200 bugs".
Everybody else keeps their bugs secret, and we don't know how many they
have.

I think we are entitled to point out the differences between Debian and
the other distributions in a way that might just convince them to _change_
the way they do things. I'd like to see all Linux distributions have the
same sort of bug system so that we could compete on the basis of quality,
timely bug-fixes being a big part of that.

Regarding the integration point:
Debian is striving for better integration of the entire system.
Two examples of this are a menu system for the installed window
managers (the "menu" package), and a built-in web server for
documentation (the "dwww" package). Each package that is installed
can automaticaly add its menu entry to your window manager, and
its documentation to the web server.

Regarding the install-configure cycle, please contribute text.

	Thanks

	Bruce
