The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Election

Hi. I'm a fairly new voice here, but I have read the archives going
back quite a ways, so I do feel I have some understanding of the
issues involved.

The language above seems fine to me. Perhaps a definitive list of
voters should be posted before discussion starts, that way we won't
have any surprises.

What happens if people join during the voting process? I doubt that
someone who joins the project on December 5th will be qualified to
vote on December 6th. The number of votes involved might be too small
to worry about, though. We could leave it up to their own judgement.

How does it interact with the time table for releasing 2.0? It would
be nice to have that out the door before discussion starts. Or
failing that, to finish it before new people take over. That way they
can start fresh with a new release.

To encourage new candidates to step forward, it might help if you
describe what the job involves. What do you do on an average day of
project leading? What qualifications do you consider essential?

Also, you do many things for Debian. Which of them are connected to
the position of project leader, and which to you personally? In
particular, what will be the relationship between the new project
leader and SPI?

(I hope you are not offended by such a list of questions. They are
asked with the best intentions.)
