The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I asked in debian-devel whether there was anything like what you
are calling 'admintool', and got no response. So this weekend, I started
a perl-tk tool that probably does the same thing. I'd like to know about
the other projects so I don't waste time.
I was thinking about something that would give information
to users , admins, and developers.

This is what works so far:
* Reads 'available', parses field:value pairs.
* Display list box with all package names.
* Click on package name displays data in text window.
* Filter panel lists all field names with an entry for each
Hit return in filter panel and package list is filtered 'and'-ing
  expression for each field
* On line help (with hyperlink, taken from fvwmconf).

Want to add:
* Toggles on filter panel:
	string/perlre
	and/or
	not
	case sensitive
* select fields to appear on filter panel (all for now)
* select fields to appear in text window
* Parse status and use data.
* User, admin modes that present different options.
* hyperlink in text window to view other packages

Parsing the file takes a minute, but after that, its quite quick.
Please tell me that admintool is well under way, because I have a
thesis to write.

BTW, I agree that dselect has some big problems.
