The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Yes, I agree, but this, along with many other things, are practical
tributes and inspirations. Things such as the kernel, Xfree, Debian, yes,
they're all very, very wonderful indeed, and a constant source of wonder
and awe, but I enjoy reading others' thoughts and views on the subject,
those who can turn a phrase better than I and capture that sense that I
feel.

Yes, there's always that side of things, but I'm looking for something
about the beauty of free software, not nasty ugly M$.

I should think that one could be able to appreciate both the practical
nature of...kernel code.. a list of dedicated people, as well as something
a bit more eloquent and abstract. I don't know about you, but I think The
Cathedral and the Bazaar is one of the better texts I've read recently.

Anyway.. Ciao,
