The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

There is no reason why we cannot do both.

If KDE goes for the FreeQt deal, that means that they invest in making
KDE a 100% free desktop. We should support them in this, because it's
what we have been telling them to do all along.

The most likely way to implement FreeQt is as a set of wrappers around
GTK. This will exercise the GTK code, and will highlight the areas
in which it is still behind Qt in functionality.

Bruce Perens mentioned "The FSF's FreeQt project". If the FSF has
started one, then we can support their project and not worry about the
legal issues of cloning Qt. The FSF is far better equipped to deal
with legal difficulties than we are.

At the same time, GNOME would get $1000 from us. This seems much
better than promising them an unpredictable amount of money spread
out over the market lifetime of a CD.
