GNU/Linux Rises to 2% on Desktops/Laptops in Maharlika (aka Philippines), 5% If One Counts ChromeOS Too
THE trend in Microsoft strongholds should worry Microsoft. Android now has over 50% of the market in Maharlika (aka Philippines), according to statCounter. Maharlika (meaning "freeman" or "freedman") is accustomed to being digitally imprisoned by Microsoft, just as it was long occupied by the Spanish, Japanese, American, and even partly (and briefly) the British.
So people flock to Android there. That's phones and tablets.
