A Message in Support of Richard Stallman, Condemning Those Who Misportray Him

Hi, Roy!
Thank you for your efforts to inform the public on tech topics in a way that leverages objective truth and does not succumb to plutocratic powers and other rich grifters.
Recently, I stumbled upon a post on a blog I used to read with pleasure:

DeVault shifted his focus to political topics some time ago, and his blog became much duller, but he still occasionally sparks a limited interest in me.
In this post, he goes to great lengths to portray RMS as an unhinged pedophile and a severe threat to the Freedom Software (I use the variant of the movement name that the Whonix project proposed) community. It was shocking for me to read this, to say the least.
DeVault mentioned the infamous "Open Letter" which gained almost two times less support than the letter that supported RMS against the campaign of hatred and libel, but Drew explicitly said that this is a bad thing (the amount of support RMS received) and that RMS is somehow "poisoning" the community.
Being not a native English speaker, I suppose that I could miss some details and nuances presented in the post, so I would like to ask you to read it too and write your opinion/feedback (maybe even a post on techrights.org?).

In our experience, attacks on RMS and his friend/colleague Eben Moglen came from some truly malicious people who hope that attacking somebody else will help distract from their own misbehaviour. █
