A Stolen Milk Crate is Surprisingly Versatile
Almost ten years ago now, I started brewing beer. And after the first time moving bottles around, I realized pretty quick that I needed a better system. One of my friends, also a brewer, was like, "oh, yeah, you need milk crates. I'll fix you up."
And a week later or so, he brought me a half dozen mismatched milk crates (black, tan, blue) that he had "acquired" from the loading dock by the local Wal-Mart. My friend is an inveterate acquirer - not an outright shoplifter, but a taker-from-things-set-aside. As these were. Wal-Mart's a billion dollar corporation. They're not going to miss six milk crates.

Learning the joy of buying outfits
I've been a advocate to reduce consumption to the absolutly minimum ever since I started considering climate change a crysis that needs addressing immidiatelly. I didn't get why people can buy so much clothing that their closets are full of clothes they never wear. But a order I made half a year ago gave me a new perspective. Though it makes no difference to the environment impace and my position.
I am a VRChat player. And I used to not care about what I wore. I've been wearing whatever I have and replacing woren out clothes with what I can find in the local market. 6 months ago, I ordered a hoodie by the author of Rusk, a popular avatar used in game, with the same design. It was becasue one of my friends wanted one so I decided to order one for myself as well. It's cute AF. And a good collection. It took quite a long time to arrive. But once I wore it. I felt different. Like I bought something personal for myself.

What we all know about SCOTUS
Trump put republican justices on the supreme court that are now going to seriously consider the idea that impeachment is the only recourse for a criminal president and all non-impeached crimes, even killing and shooting, is something that he has immunity from. This consideration is gonna delay the trials against him so he can run for office. But during the impeachment process, the GQP was like âenh he can be tried criminally laterâ.
Kinda absurd to me that he can just claim immunity and thatâs enough to hold up the courts for months. If other people do that, they would be held in contempt of court and get worse punishments.

A Wild Devlog Appeared!
With the switch from zond to hugo, I've added a devlog to this capsule! This was something I've really wanted to have but zond's limitations prevented that from happening. Of course, I did have the option to adjust the software accordingly but that wasn't the only feature I wished to have. Templating and Hugo's shortcode feature means I will be able to use this for my solo TTRPG campaign capsule too.

I really miss the 3DS
The DS Lite was my very favorite console out of all the consoles that I have ever owned or played. Next is the New 3DS XL/LL. The slightly better CPU, circle pad, and nice big screen. I miss it. I havenât had a lot of time for games lately and when I do, I tend to play on my Switch because I can join in with others or play just about any game on it in Chinese. That feature has me preferring the Switch above others right now. But the form factor of the 3DS LL, it just canât be beat.

Reading html emails in mutt with links2
Sometimes you get an email, which doesn't come with a plain text version, making it hard to read without a web browser. There are easier ways than the following, but they require more/different software. This method parses an email through links2 and displays it.

A fine Fyne Android app for quickly logging ideas programmed in Go
I am an ideas person. I find myself frequently somewhere on the streets with an idea in my head but no paper journal noting it down.
I have tried many note apps for my Android (I use GrapheneOS) phone. Most of them either don't do what I want, are proprietary software, or are too bloated. I was never into mobile app development, as I'm not too fond of the complexity of the developer toolchains. I don't want to use Android Studio (as a NeoVim user), and I don't want to use Java or Kotlin. I want to use a language I know (and like) for mobile app development. Go would be one of those languages.
