Europe's Adoption of GNU/Linux, by Country (Now About 6%)

THIS month's data about Europe's Web usage helps show some intriguing trends in GNU/Linux adoption and Chromebooks' adoption:

What's noteworthy here is, GNU/Linux has risen to 6% in Europe if one counts ChromeOS too:

Desktop Operating System Market Share Europe: Mar 2024

The breakdown by country shows that in Switzerland, for instance, adoption of GNU/Linux has been profoundly low. What explanation might there be? █
