Android Has Reached New Highs in Mexico, According to Web-Derived Data (Android Now Almost a Majority of the "Market")
Mexico is mostly known as a 'black swan' of North America; it's poorer than its neighbours to the north and Canada has just set new immigration restrictions on Mexicans.
However, watch this trend in Mexico:
Android usage is growing.
Not far from 50%, i.e. half of the "market" or most of the market.
Looking at North America in general, Chromebooks are quite big and still growing, especially in places such as schools. Based on data from this page, we've plotted ChromeOS and GNU/Linux as a function of time: (ODF file)
It has long been somewhere near 10% (combined).
A lot of the population there is from the United States Of America, so the data is similar but not the same. █
