Microsoft Hiring European Politicians is Another Form of Bribery; There Should be a European Investigation
Moments ago we wrote about Reda defecting to Microsoft and attacking Free software for Microsoft (Microsoft basically hired a politician, as usual, to attack the political system at its behest for a big bunch of money, i.e. on the payroll). It turns out that to Reda, Green means American money "green", nothing to do with ideological values of political greens.
"The closing line is apt," a reader and associate has since then said, as "some people oppose RMS for using the F-word" (freedom).
"Regarding desktop market share," an associate notes, "any gain at all is remarkable given that those are nearly 100% after market installations and that as good as 100% of the OEMs sell only proprietary systems pre-installed."
This is ongoing abuse by Microsoft and there's a lot more to come. When Microsoft bribed people in Europe for OOXML (there's no denying this!) a European government delegate said that Microsoft operated like a cult (comparing Microsoft's methods to “Scientology Cult”). He was right. █
