Beyond the World Wide Web (WWW)
Based on agate logs, last week was our best (in months) at Geminispace and we therefore assume that more people use Gemini Protocol, if not in general, then at least to read Techrights. "There are 4738 capsules. We successfully connected recently to 3226 of them," says Lupa today. The latter is an all-time high and maybe it'll exceed 3,250 by year's end.
Techrights adopted Gemini Protocol 5 years ago. Gemini Protocol has since then risen from "obscure" to "somewhat well known" (among geeks at least).
The Web has since then (in the past 5 years) only gotten more bloated and Firefox has been getting worse - to the point where one might say the Web is synonymous with "Chrome" (or things "like Chrome").
The "Chromeweb" does not interest us. We continue to treat Gemini Protocol as a first-class citizen. █
