This EU initiative is new and it is good news. It received some press coverage earlier this month and about a week is left for further feedback to be submitted.

Most commenters are constructive, I got told, but some commenters throw software patent FUD against FOSS.

"Lots of good comments," I was told, but "JavaScripts (JS scripts) [are] needed to read them though..."
