IBM Kills Companies It Bought (Neudesic Seems Like Latest Casualty)

This morning we mentioned a manic rush out of Neudesic, which IBM had bought. IBM - like Microsoft - bought many companies to fake growth.

This afternoon we see many more departures, e.g.:

Today marks my last day at Neudesic, as the organization officially fully merges with IBM

From the past hour alone:

This is my last day as a Neudesian as our transition into IBM is now complete. I am excited for what the future holds as new opportunities on a much larger scale are now attainable and the sky is the limit on where we go

And again, as earlier, it's not just Neudesic. 4 hours ago:

Yesterday was my last day at Hakkōda, an IBM Company and wraps up four years for me at Hakkoda.

Seems like mass layoffs or lots of people being pushed out without them being eager to leave.

There's meanwhile a discussion today regarding the next site to get hit by RAs:

They don’t generate any revenue. They are a large cost center.

We keep hearing about Red Hat layoffs. Why isn't even a single publisher investigating those things? █
