What Microsoft Hides Underneath
2 hours ago in The Chronicle-Journal:

Points out Microsoft is down about 20% (still a fictional "value" as sales and demand fall)
Just like IBM, Microsoft plays a shell game to fake "growth" where there is none, there's only a shuffle of buckets (classification) and price hikes. There's also a self-boosting speculation chain, such as Microsoft buying its own shares. It pays money to buy from itself and pays workers in shares (stock) to tie more people to the pyramid scheme with harsh exit conditions/restrictions (so that they won't be early dumpers).
In recent years a lot of this shell game was played via "Open" "AI" [sic], e.g. paying this shell to pretend to be a client of Microsoft and moreover offloading endless debt to this shell, which has been practically insolvent for years. That's aside from Microsoft's own huge debt.
Don't lose sight of this shell game, which begets fraudulent accounting. Days before the Microsoft-funded Cheeto took over the FTC took note of it. Not anymore. █
