Archiving or Preserving Pages About IBM Layoffs
Layoffs at IBM and the media does not talk about these:
IBM layoffs did not end or pause. Based on insiders, IBM has just (in effect) sacked close to 1,000 workers in a company it bought. Today there's this discussion about how much line managers know (or don't know) about impending layoffs:
We'd hardly be the first to point out thelayoff.com is casually and nonchalantly deleting entire on-topic and vibrant threads for no apparent reason and without prior notice (page just zapped)... hence we need copies/backups and sometimes screenshots (there's stuff in screenshots which text alone cannot capture).
Some people are rightly upset that thelayoff.com deletes their comments just because of comments made by others in the same page.
At the same time some thelayoff.com pages like this one are still intact:
