Aaron Hillel Swartz Would Have Turned 40 This Year

Aaron Swartz killed himself in 2013. His father Robert Swartz said (shortly after his death) that "Aaron was killed by the government, and MIT betrayed all of its basic principles."

Had Aaron been alive today, then later this year he would turn 40.

Seeing the nasty tactics embraced by hired guns and corrupt US attorneys, this seems like mostly an American phenomenon being imported into the UK.

Thugs who send borderline (vague) death threats - connected to Americans - are also threatening to put in prison [1, 2] people who pose absolutely no threat to the public, who respect Courts, don't lie to Courts, and do a public service pro bono to improve justice and access to justice.

Maybe Aaron was born in the 'wrong' country. It is a country (as an institution, not constituent people) that not only abhor activists but also comedians. In the US, the First Amendment is the First Thing to be Scrapped.
