Death at IBM Due to Overwork

Family of Microsoft Employee Who Died on the Job Warns Tech Companies Not to Overwork Employees

It's widely accepted that overworking can be fatal (it killed a Microsoft employee some months ago, he was relatively young) and overworking when you work for someone else is rather foolish as it compromises one's health and safety for someone else's financial gain.

A few hours ago someone called Suanne Lai, claiming to be "Chief Happiness Officer" (that's an actual job title now???), wrote: "It reminded me of my time in IBM. I was told there was once an IBM-er from another country who passed away from a heart attack believed to be linked to overwork. His colleagues could not reach him for a few days, so they went to check on him at home. Only then did they discover he had passed away. He lived alone while his family was in another country. Sad case."

Dying for IBM is never worth it. IBM is not a charity, it's actually somewhat of a parasite eating taxpayers' money to barely produce anything of value, let alone replicate or create new jobs.
