With so-called 'buyouts', 'retirements' and PIPs Microsoft is already diluting its workforce, so whatever the media (parroting Microsoft) tells us next month will be a figure far below what's really happening; "headcount" is also intentionally misleading. The scale of the layoffs in gaming will be unprecedented. █
