Supporting Women in the Free Software Community
Today's FSF is about 50% female (the staff)
The Free Software Foundation has had mostly the same staff for a long time (about equal split male/female) and financially it has had its best year for quite a long time, mostly because of two very large (but anonymous) donors. It now has a campaign to add more members (see above) and it seems increasingly prevalent a position that the FSF is here to say. It will thrive because people are sick and tired of GAFAM. They want the opposite.
Those who attacked the FSF by concern-trolling it are happy to openly show their support for a Serial Strangler from Microsoft. There is no longer even an effort to deny this (by lying to High Court judges about it) and some hours ago the spouse of the Serial Strangler's friend said this in public:
The common theme here is abuse of women. But we are going to stand for and protect them. █
