At Microsoft, Which Attacks Software Freedom, Proprietary Software Rhymes With 'Open Source'

This is misleading:

An 'open' cage?

GitHub is proprietary^*, but they go out of their way to mislead people and herd them into a prison, along with their code/projects to be subjected to licence violation en masse.

"It is a severe disappointment to see the vast number of projects at the CCC which are touting Microsoft GitHub," an associate said this week. They should know better.

^* Worse yet, it is an attack on commodity Git (the original), it spies on users and developers, it can even add back doors either by manipulating the binaries (e.g. for particular "users of interest") or compiling them nefariously in GitHub Actions, which is also proprietary.
