Bigots and Lunatics Who Attack Microsoft Critics, Projecting Their Own Bigotry by Accusing Others of Imaginary Things (Which They're Innocent Of)
"In psychology, projection refers to assigning your negative traits or unwanted emotions to others without being aware you’re doing it."
So yesterday and two days ago we showed a pattern of threats. The Microsofters sent threats to my webhosts (even female webhosts got targeted!), to my family (including several times to my wife!) and three days ago we saw that this is part of a pattern going back to 2004 or 2005 (I've lost track of how many times Microsofters targeted me, not only directly but also through webhosts, universities, family members, and employers, to name a few). It's not speculative; I kept hard evidence of this.
Last Friday the Microsofters were leaking out the trial information to Microsoft, which is kind of a big deal because of accountability aspects. We'll revisit that in the future.
I'm quite frankly patient - perhaps too patient (other people would be fed up by now, but my temper is considered very low). Here I am just trying to document facts and fight for what's right for computer users. What am I getting for this? Not only attacks on myself but also on people around me, including friends who are trans. The Microsofters are thankfully admitting that they're (or were) very transphobic. The one that we sued [1, 2] said “[I] definitely said some transphobic shit, like 20 years ago”. If Matthew Garrett in his mid-forties said this, then he's admitting that as an adult in his twenties he was transphobic, as was his militant sidekick, who said the same.
So basically what we're dealing with here are transphobic misogynists attacking perfectly normal men and women who merely promote Free software and politely advocate GNU/Linux. They, unlike us, keep publicly saying "shit" and "fuck" (in their official public accounts). They also talk about wanting to commit acts of extreme violence.
It doesn't take a genius to see what's happening here.
In their own words:
