United Kingdom: Windows Down, Vista 11 Down, GNU/Linux Up
There's a bit of a heatwave sweeping across over the next couple of days, which means we'll be outdoors more ("away from keyboard" time). Today's quick post will point out that, the way statCounter sees things (from Ireland looking at UK Web traffic), Windows is down every month since March, among Windows versions Vista 11 is down instead of up (it lost more than 1.00% this past month!), and GNU/Linux gains steadily, one might guess due to people deleting Vista 11 and replacing it with GNU/Linux. There are good reasons to do this. Microsoft shot its own foot.
This seems like an international trend this summer. We gave another example yesterday.
How many more bailouts will Microsoft receive? █
