A "Year of Efficiency"
No, we don't mean layoffs
With 12 days left in the year perhaps it's time to take stock of a great year. Exactly 15 months ago we changed webhost and for the first time (since our distant inception in 2006) the site moved from the US to the UK, where the "busy bees" are buzzing all day long. The last post/page, regarding an LLN slop example, was our 7161st (since moving to our own system in the new site). This means we're well past 7,000 in the new site. This has been by far the most productive year for us and we already have material ready for next year and everything is fully paid until almost 2026. This way we can focus on getting stuff done.
Just as a reminder, 15 months ago we moved all GNU/Linux-related Daily Links to the sister site (to avoid overlap or duplication). So to get GNU/Linux news use this RSS feed.
Here in this site we try to cover things originally or, lacking the time to do so properly, we link to articles with editorial ("Ed") comments in-line. As time passes we improve our workflow, develop more software, and generally become more efficient. This means we can cover a lot more stories or include more stories in Daily Links. █
