[Meme] Microsoft's January 6th
THIS week is the first "business week" of the year 2025 (people back at work, typically on Monday though it varies a bit). Yesterday we said Tuesday would be the day of layoffs and also explained why. Well, late at night on Tuesday (US time) leaks came out of Microsoft. It's now confirmed by Microsoft too. It didn't even try to deny the findings. Microsoft realises that lying about the layoffs would just scandalise matters some more (as the Microsoft layoffs would become apparent and totally undeniable very soon).
Microsoft is a company in collapse. Most of its operations lose money, as we explained last night. It's deep in debt and the business cannot recover. Like the rest of GAFAM, they pretend to be super-rich (maybe they rely on more bailouts from the 6-bankruptcies man, Donald Trump).
But look at those layoffs. Every month. Mass layoffs. That's Microsoft. Of course companies that are rich do not behave this way! It harms morale. Most Microsoft employees want to leave the company. █
