statCounter Sees GNU/Linux Tripling in Share in 3 Years in Iran

GNU/Linux or BSDs aren't full of back doors and aren't easy to intrude with something like Stuxnet. Ever since the rocket warfare (we'll leave the politics out of it here) the GNU/Linux adoption in Iran appears to have skyrocketed.

So GNU/Linux rose from 1% to 3% quite quickly after years of stagnation.

ChromeOS adoption is low, but then again, nobody buys a Chromebooks with the expectation of better privacy. █
